Very quiet and convenient location, all bedroom have individual A/C, clean and quiet hot water radiator heat, TV's (video player available upon request), antique period furniture throughout, off-street parking available, complimentary refreshments and snacks, Friendly, knowledgeable innkeepers who make your B&B stay a wonderful experience.

Breakfast
A complete, nutritiously cooked breakfast including your choice of hot drinks, juice, fresh fruit, a variety of yogurts, and freshly baked pastries. Please note any special dietetic needs. Dining on the sun porch or formal dining room.

Rates
All rates are for double occupancy. One additional guest, add $25 per night. Ask about extended stays. promotions, and upgrades.

Amish Room - April through early January - $120 per night (one or more nights stay Sun.-Fri.; two nights stay Fri.-Sat. or Sat.-Sun.)
mid-January through March - $110 per night (one or more nights stay Sun.-Fri.; two nights stay Fri.-Sat. or Sat.-Sun.)
Brantwyn Room - April through early January - $130 per night (one or more nights stay Sun.-Fri.; two nights stay Fri.-Sat. or Sat.-Sun.)
mid-January through March - $120 per night (one or more nights stay Sun.-Fri.; two nights stay Fri.-Sat. or Sat.-Sun.)

"Saturday Night Only" Accommodations:

We ask for a minimum stay of two nights over the weekend throughout the period of late March to early January. However, we understand that circumstances do not always permit a Friday night/Saturday night stay or Saturday night/Sunday night stay. Therefore, we can make accommodations for a Saturday-only reservation based on the following rates:

The following must be made by an advanced reservation for Saturday night stay:
Amish Room - April through early January - $150; mid-January through March - $120
Brantwyn Room - April through early January - $160; mid-January through March - $135
Longwood Suite - April through early January - $175; mid-January through March - $135

Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates to Bancroft Manor are available. They make a wonderful gift for that special occasion. Please contact Bancroft Manor for more information.

Availability and Reservations
Click here to request a reservation or check availability for your date(s). All major credit cards, travelers' cheques, and US dollars gladly accepted.

Cancellation
A 10-day notice is required for a full refund. When less than 10 days notice is given, a partial/full refund will be provided only in cases where the room is rebooked for the partial/full duration. A credit for a future booking may be applied at the owner's discretion.

Check-In
After 4:30PM through early evening unless prior arrangements are made where possible. Checkout by 11:00AM.

Children
Due to antique furnishings, the B&B is not suitable for small children. Please call to discuss in detail.

Pets
There are no accommodations for pets. Assistance is available for finding a local and reputable kennel.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted indoors. Smoking is allowed outdoors at designated areas.


The owner and innkeeper of Bancroft Manor, Michael Snyder, has worked and resided in Kennett Square since 1982. When not serving as host in the manor, Michael enjoys remodeling, gardening, running, biking, and antiques. Combined with charitable fundraising for the Multiple Dystrophy Association, Leukemia Society, and local philanthropic organizations, he has competed in seven marathons including the New York City Marathon and the 100th Boston Marathon . A graduate of Widener University majoring in information systems and business, Michael plans on attending graduate school in these fields. Michael also stayed at dozens of bed and breakfasts across the United States. He purchased Bancroft Manor in 2000 with the intention of becoming an innkeeper, sharing one of Kennett Square's best architectural treasures with the public.
